We accept reservations by phone or by e-mail and we require a credit card for a security deposit we only charge the card the day of arrival. If for any reason your plans change and you need to cancel we require a 48 hour notice.
If you are part of a large group that has booked the whole hotel for a function or you booked a block of rooms for an event, our cancellation policy varies and you will be advised as to if cancellation is allowed at the time of the reservation.
Check in time is any time between 12 PM and 10 PM at the latest. Our offices close at 10 PM.
Check out time is at 11 AM at the latest. If prearranged we allow late check outs to 1 or 2 PM for an additional $20. This is not always possible to do. We will try to accommodate you whenever it is possible.
Non Smoking Policy
We are a Non Smoking environment but we do make an area available for smoking under the flags by the picnic tables only and far away from any doors and windows. We reserve the right to charge your credit card for a minimum of 500 dollars for damages if your room smells like smoke. We have Zero Tolerance on this subject. Also it is against the laws and we reserve the right to press charges for damages to personal property.
We accept well behaved pets and they must not be left unattended at anytime. The cost is 10 dollars per pet and we require proof that the pet was treated for tics and flees. Guests are not allowed to leave a pet in a room unattended.The guest is totally responsible for their pet actions and damages and an extra charge will apply if the room is kept too messy or damaged in any way.
Peace & Quiet
We expect total peace and quiet on the property after 10:00 pm. No outdoors allowed. The outdoor areas are closed after 10 PM. Only registered guests are allowed to be on the property after 10:00 pm. No unregistered guests after 10:00 pm
will be allowed. Please consider the comfort & peace of your neighbors.
By making a reservation with the Lakelawn B and B or the Motel you are accepting the above and the following terms and conditions:
1- Checking in is before 10 PM since the office closes at 10 PM.
2 - If you expect to arrive after 10 PM you must make prior arrangements with the office. There will be additional charges for employees to wait for your late arrival. This does not apply to the ferry delays as long as we are informed.
3 - If you do not contact us by 10 PM your reservation will be considered a No Show and you will be charged the full length of your stay.
4 - All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the date of arrival or the full cost of the stay will be charged to your card. We only can make changes to your reservations that you booked with us directly; By e-mail or by phone or online on our own website here. All online reservations must be changed online. We have no access to online reservations.
Confirm all verbal comunications by following up with an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and state the summary of the conversation and insist on a reply so that you can be sure that the issue at hand has been taken care of.
5 - The phone number and or the e-mail that you give us when you reserve a room, must be valid to contact you during your travel and at any time, in case we have an urgent need to do so.
6 - Please add breakfast to your Motel Room if you enjoy a full breakfast in the morning. The motel room does not include breakfast. Only the Bed and Breakfast rooms include our deluxe breakfast in the Dining Room.
We look forward to meeting you and we are happy to make you restaurant reservations for dinner at some of our fine restaurants in the area. We can also show you maps when you arrive. and point out attractions.
